To maintain high quality standards, WONIK Quartz International utilizes a variety of systems and internally developed tools that drive continuous improvement within the company.  Design of Experiment (DOE) and Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA) are just two of the many tools used to diagnose development efforts, improve cycle-time, determine route-cause analysis, and validate business and manufacturing systems.  Advanced SPC tools provide data to enhance productivity, reduce costs and improve overall quality.  Metrology equipment is matched and correlated to customer, supplier, and industry standards.  Often new “Best Known Methods” (BKM’s) are developed which are propagated across all global sites to standardize methods and enhance product consistency.
